If you plan to arrive early or depart late from the Hudson Valley Region, there are some wonderful activities to partake in. Some ideas include:

- Walkway over the Hudson: Originally built in 1889, this bridge provides a scenic pedestrian walkway over the Hudson River.

- Apple Picking: Apples and pears will be in season at the time of our wedding. There are many orchard options if you are interested in enjoying this classic fall activity.

- Hiking: If you are into spectacular views of the Hudson River or being in the mountains during peak fall foliage, get on the AllTrails App and hit the trails. Some of our favorites are in Minnewaska, Hudson Highlands, and Harriman State Parks.

- Breweries: The region offers several brewery options, so take your pick. There are many to choose from, but two of our favorites are Arrowood Farms (we highly recommend the Porch Beer) and Plan Bee Farm Brewery.
